Only this time the fight isn’t for himself, but for his family
When a sinister threat from his childhood comes back to haunt him, a father desperately battles his deepest inner fear.
It’s the first PG-13 horror film to feature the “Lionsgate Red Gears” logo since Opsjednuta (2012)
Patrick McKee: Since we’ve been back, my hands have been turning white thinking about Jake’s kidnapping.
I can understand the criticisms – it’s not the most original story ever – but I found it quite refreshing
It’s not one of those horrors where no one believes the person, it happens to everyone and they really try to prevent it – the police take it seriously, the family steps in to help, etc.
I enjoyed it, didn’t get bored, and tried something else, so I’d say it’s worth a try
I think people are too busy looking for the next “new” thing, the next unpredictable twist, but don’t give any credit to an old-fashioned story.
